Everything you need to set up and use MesaAlert in your restaurant.
Get MesaAlert running in your restaurant in under 15 minutes.
Go to mesaalert.com and click 'Start free trial'. Fill in your restaurant name, email, and phone. No credit card needed.
Within 24 hours you'll receive your Tenant ID and 6-digit PIN by email. Keep them safe.
Go to mesaalert.com/login. Enter your Tenant ID then your 6-digit PIN.
In the dashboard go to Tables → click '+ Add table'. Enter the table number and waiter name.
Go to QR Codes → Print all. Place one QR code on each table.
Configure your restaurant profile and access credentials.
Once logged in, click the ⚙️ Settings icon in the left sidebar.
Enter your restaurant name, Tenant ID, and Worker URL from your welcome email.
Choose how long before MesaAlert reminds you to close an open table. Minimum 30 minutes.
Click 'Save configuration'. Settings are stored locally and persist across sessions.
Add, edit, open, and close your restaurant tables from the dashboard.
In the Tables section click the orange button at the top right.
Enter the table number and the assigned waiter's name.
Click 'Save and open table'. The table opens automatically and the QR is generated.
When done, click '✕ Close table'. This deactivates the QR so no more alerts come in.
Generate and print QR codes for each table so customers can call the waiter with a single tap.
Click QR Codes in the left sidebar. All tables appear with their QR codes.
Click '🖨️ Print all' to print everything at once, or print one at a time.
Cut and place each QR on its table. Laminating them makes them last longer.
Connect a network printer to print QR codes and receipts directly from the dashboard.
Set up your restaurant floor with zones and tables using the interactive floor map.
Go to Settings → Zones (PIN required). Add up to 5 zones (Main, Terrace, Bar, VIP). Mark active and save.
Tap Edit in the top bar, enter PIN (default 0000). Tables show pencil icon and resize handles.
Tap '+ Add table'. Set number, name, shape (rect/round), size with sliders, capacity and color.
Drag tables to position. Use orange handles to resize. Layout saves automatically.
Tap Use to go back. Tap any table to open, close or change status.
Understand how alerts work and how to manage them.
Customer scans the QR with their phone camera. Opens in the browser — no app needed.
They choose from 3 options: 🔔 Assistance, 💳 Check, or 🧹 Cleaning.
Alert appears in the dashboard with sound. The table card changes color.
Click '✓ Attend' on the alert or table card. The table returns to Occupied status.
Add waiters to assign them to tables and track alerts by staff member.
Tap Settings, enter PIN, scroll to Waiters section.
Enter name, 4-digit PIN, assigned tables (comma separated). Mark Active.
Tap free table → Open table → Select waiter from dropdown. Name shows on table card.
Waiters log in at mesaalert.com/mesero-app.html with tenant name and their PIN. Real-time alerts.
Manage reservations from the dashboard or accept them from your website.
Tap Reservations → + Add. Fill name, date, time, party size, phone, email, notes. Save.
Settings → Webhook → Generate embed code. Paste on your website. Reservations appear automatically.
Reservations arrive as Pending. Confirm or cancel. Filter by All, Soon or Confirmed.
A dedicated full-screen display for your kitchen or waiter station.
Go to mesaalert.com/station on the device for the station display.
Tap the splash screen to enter fullscreen mode automatically.
Left side shows active tables with timers. Right panel shows live alerts with sound.
Staff can attend alerts and close tables directly from the Station display.
Manage waiting customers and notify them when their table is ready.
Go to the Waitlist page. Fill in name, party size, email, and optional phone.
The list shows position, party size, wait time. Turns red after 30 minutes.
When ready, click '📧 Email' to notify automatically, or '📞 Call' to call them.
Click '✓ Seat' when done. They move to seated and the next group moves up.
MesaAlert's new dashboard is built around an interactive floor map. Every section is accessible from the bottom navigation bar.
The main view shows all tables in real time. Tables pulse orange on alert. Tap any table to open, close, or assign a waiter. Switch zones with the tabs at the top.
Tap Edit in the top bar and enter your PIN. Drag tables, resize with corner handles, add/edit/delete tables. All saved automatically.
Tap QR in the top bar, enter PIN. See QR cards per zone. Print 4 per row on any printer.
Tap Alerts in the bottom bar. Mark alerts as done individually or clear all. Badge shows live unread count.
Add customers, monitor wait times, notify by email, mark seated. Clear all seated at once.
View and manage reservations by date. Filter, confirm, cancel. Add from dashboard or via website embed form.
See customer star ratings from QR sessions. Filter by stars. View averages and totals.
See all captured emails. Send campaigns with subject, message and PIN confirmation.
Enter PIN to access. Configure name, language, zones, schedule, waiters, template, webhook, printer, PIN and logout.
